Tunstall Healthcare Group in Tauranga is hiring a responsive Call Centre Assistant for our 24/7 emergency support team. You’ll answer incoming alarms, dispatch emergency services when required, provide reassurance, and work with clear protocols to keep clients safe.

We value empathy, resilience, attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and solid computer skills. A First Aid certificate is preferred, and there are hybrid shifts with some after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate empathy, calm phone manner and strong customer service experience.
• Resilience and the ability to stay composed during emergencies is essential.
• High attention to detail and reliability are required for accurate admin and protocols.
• Teamwork and reliable performance in a fast-paced, rotating roster.
• Willingness to obtain a First Aid certificate if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls triggered by clients' medical and duress alarms.
• Dispatch emergency services where required.
• Provide reassurance and remain calm under pressure.
• Follow clear protocols and accurate admin processes.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for accidental and test alarm calls.
