Job summary

Welsh Ambulance Services is seeking a proactive Response Coordinator to supervise Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responses and oversee the deployment of Trust Specialist resources including HART, SORT and Operational Managers across incidents, in line with Trust policies.

You will maintain close working relationships with all roles within the EMSC and NOCC, ensuring high quality patient care and safety in resource allocation for 999 calls, while adhering to the EMSC Business Continuity and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in relevant subject or equivalent relevant experience.
• Awareness of EMSC SOPs and Trust Policies.
• Desirable: JESIP trained.
• Desirable: Experience acting up to Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationships with all roles within the EMSC and NOCC.
• Accountable for service delivery and allocation of ambulance specialist resources to 999 calls.
• Be conversant with EMSC BC and Major/ Significant Incident plans for appropriate response.
• Make decisions balancing clinical needs with available resources during incidents.
