Job summary

Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Nursing Associate (Band 4) to join the Emergency care team at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey.

You will work with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality Emergency care for major and minor injuries and illnesses, under indirect supervision by a registered practitioner. You will perform venepuncture, cannulation, ECG interpretation, and related duties as part of clinical care.

Qualifications

• NMC registered Nursing Associate with current UK registration.
• Hospital experience.
• Band 4 scope of practice knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, safe environment for patients and visitors in the department.
• Carry out observations and escalate deteriorating patients as per pathway.
• Initiate Basic Life Support for collapsed patients until medical help arrives.
• Assist with safe transfer of patients within the department and handover care.
• Record clinical care and patient information accurately in line with NHS standards.
