Job summary

Ashford and St. Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey is hiring a Nursing Associate for the Emergency Department at Band 4. You will work with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality emergency care and support patients with major and minor injuries in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires current NMC registration as a Nursing Associate, hospital experience and the ability to work with limited supervision while following care pathways and NHS standards.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nursing Associate with current registration.
• Experience in hospital settings and managing patient cohorts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision within an Emergency Department team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality emergency care for patients with major and minor injuries.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team under supervision.
• Carry out observations and escalation following patient pathways.
• Perform clinical skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, ECG, catheterisation, NG tubes and wound care.
• Maintain accurate records in line with NMC standards and NHS policies.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
