South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a 999 Emergency Call Handler (Emergency Medical Advisor). You will be the first point of contact for callers in medical emergencies, gathering information and offering advice or reassurance as needed.

Training is provided in our Emergency Call Centres in a warm environment, including 9 weeks full-time training and a must-attend pathway licence process. The role is based in Medway or Crawley with 24/7 rotas.

Qualificações

• First point of contact with callers dialling 999 and gathering accurate information.
• Ability to provide clear advice or reassurance during emergencies.
• Must be able to work a variable shift pattern including nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Enter patient details into the computer system and assess urgency.
• Provide appropriate guidance and route to ambulance or care pathway.
• Work within a 24/7 operations centre and adhere to rotas.
