Job summary

MerseyCare Julie Ann is seeking a Care Assistant Driver (Emergency Response) in the Liverpool area to deliver compassionate home care to vulnerable adults, covering specified neighbourhoods and surrounding areas. You will attend calls on short notice and help service users regain independence.

Responsibilities include daily tasks, meal prep, medication reminders, light domestic duties and providing meaningful companionship, with an emphasis on patient dignity and safety. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking individuals with a genuine desire to care.
• Ability to travel to service users within the area and support daily tasks.
• Own car with business insurance and a willingness to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
• Travel around visiting service users to assist with daily tasks and personal care.
• Assist with meals, medication administration, laundry and light domestic duties.
• Provide companionship and communicate effectively with service users.
• Work in partnership with service users to maintain independence and confidence.
• Attend calls on short notice due to sickness or urgent referrals.
