Job summary

ICare Group in Birkenhead is seeking Home Care Assistants (Driver required) to support clients across CH41, CH42 and CH43. You’ll provide compassionate personal care, help with daily routines and travel between clients’ homes in the local community.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential; paid mileage, a welcome bonus and ongoing training are part of the package. Flexible hours, fortnightly pay and a supportive team help you balance work with life.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Birkenhead area.
• Be willing to obtain business insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Support with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Support light household tasks and maintain a comfortable home.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.

• Travel between clients' homes across the local community.
