Job summary

ICare Group in Bury is seeking a Home Care Assistant (Driver Required) to support people in their own homes across the local community. You will travel between clients, provide personal care with dignity, and help with daily routines, meals, medication prompts and safety checks.

Flexibility is key, with shifts between 7am-10pm across Mon-Sun and a welcome bonus as part of joining the team. Training and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Access to own vehicle.
• Willing to travel throughout the Bury area.
• No sponsorship available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community.
