South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Emergency Call Taker to be the calm, compassionate first contact for callers in critical moments. You will gather essential details, reassure, and guide responders while coordinating emergency actions from our on-site Operations Centre in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The role prioritises resilience, clear communication, and empathy, with training available from November 2026 onward.

Qualifications

• Compassion, confidence, and clear communication are essential.
• Resilience and emotional awareness during shifts are important.
• A genuine desire to help others is required.

Responsabilités

• Be the first point of contact for callers in emergencies.
• Ask the right questions, provide reassurance, and support callers through critical situations.
