Job summary

PRS is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to provide regional technical leadership across UK & EMEA data centre portfolios. You will act as a senior technical authority, guiding complex electrical design, operation, and safety standards while mentoring engineers and apprentices.

The role requires deep understanding of HV/LV systems, UPS, generators and switchgear, with a focus on reliability, resilience and continuous improvement across multiple sites and international projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree and significant mission-critical experience.
• HV Authorising Engineer experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV distribution and protection.
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical leadership across UK & EMEA data centre portfolio.
• Act as senior technical authority for complex electrical engineering matters.
• Review designs, modifications and technical proposals with stakeholders.
• Lead commissioning, testing and technical acceptance.
• Develop and promote engineering standards and best practice.
• Mentor engineers and apprentices across sites and projects.
