Job summary

Vantage Data Centers, London-based, is seeking a Senior Automation Design Engineer to drive secure, scalable automation across our expanding EMEA platform. You will work at the heart of the Automation Design team, shaping standards, governance, and innovation for data centre automation across multiple disciplines.

You will influence automation architectures, review designs, and collaborate with vendors to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Seasoned automation engineer with 6+ years in industrial automation or data centre environments.
Experience reviewing designs and developing engineering standards across multidisciplinary teams.
Solid understanding of industrial networking, OT Cybersecurity and IPC/SCADA protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise across projects and initiatives within the Automation Design team.
Develop and maintain secure, scalable automation architectures.
Review consultant designs and provide technical guidance.
Design OT networking solutions and ensure cybersecurity alignment.
Produce high-quality technical documentation and design deliverables.
Develop and test PLC and SCADA code libraries.
