Job summary

STACK Infrastructure EMEA seeks a Senior Director to lead controls and automation across the data centre portfolio. You will shape standards, drive scalable BMS architectures, and provide engineering leadership from concept through handover.

The role requires hands-on expertise in BMS, PLCs and cybersecurity, with a track record delivering hyperscale projects and managing a regional team across multiple countries. This is a senior, strategic position within STACK’s growing EMEA portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in controls engineering and BMS implementation.
• Delivery leadership across hyperscale data centre projects.
• Ability to define standards, control philosophies and repeatable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of networks, cybersecurity and IEC/ASHRAE standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as STACK's EMEA technical authority for BMS, controls and automation.
• Own development of standardised, scalable EMEA BMS product, including specifications and engineering standards.
• Define repeatable system architectures, sequences of operation, hardware and software, networks, graphics and interfaces.
• Provide end-to-end technical oversight across multiple projects from concept through handover.
• Lead and develop a regional specialist team and coordinate with partners and suppliers.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, operations, commercial and global teams; report risks to senior leaders.
