Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Director of Mechanical Engineering for the EMEA region to lead a team of engineers and technical leads focused on critical data center infrastructure. You will own high-level design output, review submittals, oversee installation, commissioning, and transition to operations, and drive the team’s career development and onboarding to Vantage standards.

You will collaborate across departments and regions, guiding complex engineering challenges and ensuring design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field.
• Chartered / Professional Engineer credentials preferred.
• 15+ years in data center mechanical engineering management or equivalent; 10+ years in leadership roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and set the strategic direction for the Mechanical Engineering team in the EMEA region.
• Oversee design, sequencing, and execution of multiple projects across EMEA within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop engineers, recruit new members, and onboard regional staff to engineering standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and risk management in mechanical systems and project delivery.
