Job summary

Upstream Risk Management, contracted to Amazon, embeds within Amazon’s Europe, Middle East and Africa security operations team in London. The role leads change programs to better secure people, assets and operations and requires 5+ years in operational teams with a focus on security delivery.

The ideal candidate will manage complex, cross-regional projects, work with a supportive leadership team, and travel 2–3 times per year as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ public or corporate experience in operational teams.
• Experience delivering technology and people projects for large teams, including navigating issues relating to security regulations, data privacy or workers' councils.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning, development, delivery and review of regional and global projects and programs that help drive both the organisational strategy and short-term operational needs.
• Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with multiple global stakeholders on the design of new solutions that drive operational excellence.
• Serve as the primary liaison with other Regional Program Managers and ACS Global Integration to ensure organisational alignment on best project management practices, deconflict regional project initiatives, and have a thorough understanding of the organisation’s priority projects.
• Act as a project management expert across ACS EMEA, leveraging and advising team members on best practices for project and program management while embracing Amazon’s peculiar ways of working.
• Apply change management methodology to conduct periodic reviews of global programs to monitor processes and drive efficiency and proactively identify opportunities and initiatives that add value to ACS, streamline the current way of working, and provide scalable solutions.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the EMEA corporate security team.
• Collect, analyse and present sub-regional, regional or global metrics to inform regional leadership decision-making and issues resolution.
• Assist regional operations team with high-priority tasks and projects.
• Draft weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews for senior leadership.
