Job summary

Chainguard, the trusted source for open source, is seeking an experienced Sales Engineering Leader to support its EMEA customers. You will lead a team of sales engineers, develop technical sales strategies, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to drive adoption and growth.

You will design customized technical solutions, conduct demos and PoCs, and build lasting relationships with key customers while staying aligned with Chainguard’s security and compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years leading sales engineering for EMEA.
• Minimum 4+ years as a sales engineer in EMEA.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container tech.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of sales engineers.
• Develop technical sales strategies for the EMEA region.
• Hire staff to support Chainguard’s EMEA growth.
• Conduct product demos, POCs, and technical presentations.
• Create technical proposals with specs and diagrams.
• Build strong relationships with key customers as trusted adviser.
• Provide ongoing technical support during/after sales processes.
