Department Overview

EMEA Regulatory Operations conduct an Oversight model of the BAU process and controls managed by the Regulatory Operations team in Powai. Coverage includes SFTR, EMIR, MiFID & Central Bank reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and progress to the department senior management team and stakeholders, regionally and globally
  • Supervise regular meetings and reporting to all stakeholders to keep them up to date and manage expectations
  • Lead continual improvements to both the process and control environment
  • Monitor regulatory changes, assess impact and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance
  • Ensure Thorough understanding of the regulatory reporting environment and compliance for MiFID reporting across all technical standards
  • Build and maintain ongoing dialogue with key Business and Corporate stakeholders to understand and align on strategy
  • Proactively manage breach process, taking ownership of issues from inception to conclusion including technology remediation and back reporting
Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of MiFID regulatory reporting requirements, including best practice controls and processes
  • Experience working in financial services, ideally in a MiFID regulatory reporting role
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to prioritise and allocate workload to focus on key areas
  • Ability to articulate key messages and Escalate potential risks in a timely manner
  • Proactive with a “can‑do” attitude and flexible, dynamic approach to managing requests
  • Good business knowledge of Front / Middle / Back‑office functions
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Hands‑on experience with digital tools and data analytics preferred
