Job summary

Xplor Technologies seeks an EMEA Payroll Specialist on a 6-month fixed-term contract, remotely in the UK. You will manage payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments while coordinating with HR and external vendors.

The role requires strong knowledge of EMEA payroll legislation, data integrity, and the ability to handle complex payroll scenarios, audits, and year-end reporting with confidentiality and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience as an EMEA Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Experience payroll across multiple EMEA countries.
• Knowledge of EMEA payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with payroll vendors and data integration.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and confidentiality in handling employee data.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing for assigned EMEA countries.
• Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Collaborate with regional HR to collect payroll inputs.
• Review and validate payroll calculations for each country.
• Coordinate data integration between UKG and Activpayroll.
• Reconcile payroll outputs and audits for gross to net calculations.
• Handle payroll-related enquiries from employees.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation across EMEA.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Tax teams on data management.
• Provide guidance on payroll processes and reporting.
• Coordinate year-end payroll processes and statutory statements.
• Conduct periodic payroll audits and liaise with auditors.
