Job summary

Equinix, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Development Director for EMEA on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role leads end-to-end execution of M&A deals, JV opportunities, market monitoring, and strategic assessment across the region.

You will build partnerships across functions, support complex deal lifecycle from origination through signing, and collaborate with senior leaders on strategic initiatives. The role requires extensive financial modeling, data valuation, and ability to influence

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with strong academic background; MBA, CFA or CPA preferred but not required.
• Extensive experience, preferably at a leading investment bank, consulting firm, private equity, or corporate finance/development at a technology firm.
• Previous experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, or TMT preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team orientation.
• Strong commercial judgment, work ethic, professionalism and intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Defines and leads M&A strategy and execution for the region.
• Leads cross-functional teams through sourcing, due diligence and transaction processes.
• Develops deal valuation frameworks and financial models.
• Supports development of M&A thesis with business unit heads.
• Manages strategic initiatives and dependencies with power and real estate teams.
• Produces executive-level presentation materials and reports.
