Job summary

CooperVision in Fareham, UK is seeking an EMEA Financial Accountant to manage financial reporting for specified markets. The role will liaise with market controllers, finance and commercial teams to ensure accurate reporting in line with US GAAP, SOX and corporate policies.

For the EMEA region, you will own monthly close processes, revenue, and balance sheet reconciliations. The role collaborates with regional tax, treasury and audit teams, supports statutory reporting and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 1-3 years accounting/finance experience in a large organization
• Experience with SOX and US GAAP
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle R12, SAP)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end revenue and unit reconciliations and load into EPM
• Prepare revenue recognition and cut-off adjustments
• Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly certifications
• Collaborate with local market finance, tax, and treasury for statutory reporting and audits
