Job summary

THE-TEAM is seeking a fully qualified Chartered Accountant to lead EMEA accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables and reporting. You will own monthly close and statutory reporting, ensuring compliant group consolidation and timely audits across UK/EMEA.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent CA qualification).
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience with strong accounting and audit background.
• Experience managing accounting teams and external audits, with clear objective setting and reviews.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS 16 and GAAP changes.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with complex data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EMEA accounting operations: general ledger, receivables, payables and reporting.
• Own monthly close, ensure seven business day close with reconciliations.
• Lead statutory reporting and consolidation for EMEA, group and UK entities.
• Coordinate group, UK and EMEA audits to meet deadlines with audit files.
• Manage tax, VAT and other taxes across EMEA with robust controls.
• Guide accounting policy updates in response to GAAP/tax/regulatory changes.
• Develop and coach two accounting staff; monitor performance and development.
• Maintain strong financial controls and liaise with shared service centers and auditors.
