Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support FIG partners across the EMEA region. You will drive marketing and BD initiatives, craft strategic business development plans, and oversee two BD staff while coordinating with the U.S. team.

You will develop tailored pitches, manage client materials, and advance brand positioning through events and cross-selling efforts. Financial services experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Interest in financial services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD initiatives to support FIG partners in EMEA and drive revenue growth.
• Manage two BD team members and collaborate with U.S.-based FIG BD team.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans.
• Prepare pitches and client materials with the marketing team.
• Drive brand positioning through conferences, sponsorships, and communications.
• Collaborate with internal resources for lead generation and client opportunities.
• Track ROI and maintain data in CRM and firm systems.
