Job summary

Exa, a London-based AI search engine, seeks a leader to build and scale Field Engineering in EMEA from its London office. You will recruit, onboard, and lead Solutions Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers, aligning technical delivery with regional sales and revenue growth.

In this player-coach role you will stay hands-on in deals, run demos and evaluations, and ensure production integrations while growing the team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering background with ability to build demos and review production integrations.
• 6+ years in technical customer-facing roles with at least 2+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record of winning technical evaluations and getting customers live post-sale.
• Experience building or scaling a region for a US-based tech company is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of Field Engineering in EMEA from London office.
• Own the technical win on new business in EMEA in partnership with regional Sales.
• Oversee post-sales technical success from onboarding to adoption and growth.
• Stay hands-on with discovery, demos, POCs, and critical customer integrations.
• Coordinate pipeline generation with Marketing through webinars and events.
• Run SA to FDE handoffs and maintain account health reviews.
• Represent EMEA customers in product and roadmap discussions.
