Job summary

Altera seeks a technically credible, customer-oriented Business Development Manager to grow Embedded across EMEA. You will identify opportunities, deepen relationships with strategic customers and partners, and translate complex embedded requirements into compelling outcomes.

You will discuss FPGA/SoC architectures with engineering teams and develop executable account plans with Field Sales and FAE. The role covers industrial automation, robotics, machine vision, edge AI, and other high-value

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in business development, strategic account development, technical sales, or related roles in embedded computing or semiconductors.
Strong ability to engage with both technical customers and executives.
Experience coordinating with Field Sales, FAE, and marketing to create opportunities.

Responsibilities

Build and execute an EMEA business-development plan for Embedded applications.
Develop trusted relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and partners.
Lead customer discovery and translate requirements into actionable opportunity plans.
Drive workshops, executive briefings, PoCs, and design reviews.
Create and maintain account plans, pipeline reviews, and engagement plans.
Identify gaps in product portfolio and convey feedback to teams.
