Job summary

Citi Markets is seeking an experienced professional to lead electronic execution across the EMEA region, focusing on algorithmic strategies and client outcomes within a major investment bank. The role emphasizes revenue growth, risk oversight, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will engage with institutional clients, manage regulatory requirements, and mentor junior staff, while contributing to the strategic development of Citi's electronic execution

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electronic equities trading and algorithmic execution with revenue generation.
• Deep knowledge of FCA/MiFID II/MiFIR frameworks and best execution principles.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficient in Python/R/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across the EMEA electronic execution franchise.
• Lead design, optimization, and deployment of algorithmic trading strategies across cash equities.
• Manage risk oversight including real-time P&L, position management, and market impact analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Research, Prime Finance, and Product to deliver integrated execution solutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and robust controls over trading systems.
• Mentor traders and sales professionals within the Electronic Execution team.
