Job summary

Citi Markets in London is seeking a senior leader to drive growth, risk management, and client engagement across electronic execution in EMEA. You will shape algorithmic strategies, collaborate with Quantitative Research and Technology, and ensure robust controls and regulatory compliance across multi-asset flows.

The role requires deep expertise in equity market microstructure, extensive client relationships, and a track record of regulated trading frameworks within a top-tier bank or buy-side.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential.
• Experience in electronic equities trading or related areas is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and market share in the EMEA electronic execution franchise with institutional clients.
• Lead design and deployment of algorithmic trading strategies across cash equities.
• Oversee risk management, P&L monitoring, and regulatory capital optimization across electronic flows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Research, Prime Finance, and Product to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with MiFID II/MiFIR, FCA rules, and best execution standards.
