Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Design Manager for the EMEA Portfolio within the Global Design team. Based in Europe, the role focuses on post-occupancy tenant improvements and expansion projects across the EMEA portfolio, coordinating with D&C teams and external partners to ensure alignment with global guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects with tight timelines and travel of ~20-30% in the EMEA

Qualifications

• Producer/UX Program Manager/Research Program Manager or similar role in a UX/design team.
• Experience in UX research.
• Experience leading large projects through full product development life cycle in a large cross-functional team.
• Experience with web-based design tooling and project management software (Jira, Wrike, Workfront).
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data/metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience in project and program management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design of post-occupancy tenant improvements and small/medium new site projects.
• Identify and implement continuous design refinement using operational data and insights.
• Collaborate with regional peers to ensure consistent customer experience while respecting local nuances.
• Collaborate with GREF partner teams to elevate program deliverables with focus on resiliency, efficiency, health and safety.
• Connect with external industry bodies to adopt new standards, practices and innovations.
