EMEA MEP Design Lead | Client Projects & Handover

Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Client MEP Project and Design Manager to ensure MEP designs meet guidelines across all project stages from lease negotiations to handover.

The role is embedded with the client's team and requires travel across EMEA and beyond from its Canary Wharf base in London. The position demands deep MEP knowledge (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and strong design management skills, with a track record in high-end office environments and complex spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in MEP design or management.
• 5+ years design consultancy/management within commercial office buildings.
• Experience with trading floors, high-end client dining, comms rooms, kitchens/restaurants, auditoriums and multimedia.
• Knowledge of critical services resilience and single points of failure in MEP systems.
• Knowledge of IoT technologies (IAQ, HVAC analysis, smart lighting, occupancy monitoring).
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• Willing to travel and based at client offices when required.

Responsibilities

• Client MEP representative for construction projects in the EMEA region.
• Advise on the client design process from feasibility to handover.
• Support operations to address failures with actionable reports.
• Perform feasibility studies and early project support for design teams.
• Collaborate with QS to develop MEP budgets and with PMs on schedules.
• Produce high-level MEP SoWs for internal moves and small projects.
