Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Real Estate Development Manager to join the Real Estate Development Management (REDM) team within Data Centre Supply Solutions (DCSS) EMEA. Based in London, you will own end-to-end development across EMEA, including the UK and Ireland, managing complex land development, permitting, and stakeholder engagement.

You will lead strategic development management, budgeting, and AHJ relationships, coordinating across internal teams to deliver high-value data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, real estate, or related field.
• 10+ years in real estate development management or related infrastructure.
• Experience with planning authorities and regulatory agencies.
• Experience negotiating development agreements (BTS, development agreements).
• Willingness to travel regularly across EMEA and comply with London return-to-office policy.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development ownership for Hybrid and BTS projects from pre-transaction to close-out.
• Lead land development permitting and engage with AHJs and planning authorities.
• Manage budgets, costs, and change control across multi-year programmes.
• Coordinate with internal teams across Development, Design Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Policy.
• Drive risk management and ensure capacity delivery while protecting commercial interests.
