Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment in London leads the EMEA Distribution Research team, delivering data-driven insights across D2C channels, Home Entertainment, and BD, with a focus on consumer behaviour and industry trends. The role supports strategic analysis for Sony’s businesses in the EMEA region, and works across multiple countries from our London base.

You will partner with Research colleagues and Business Development to underpin new business modelling, forecasts and insight-led selling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a similar role or within a media industry.
• Strong understanding of audience behaviours in relevant markets.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and commercially minded with curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key research point person for Direct to Consumer channels and key platforms.
• Collaborate with Business Development to provide market trend data and forecasts.
• Support Home Entertainment and Insight-led selling agendas with data-driven input.
• Work independently while sharing insights with colleagues across locations.
• Leverage third‑party datasets and primary research to inform business impact.
