Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Credit Risk – Corporates professional to deliver credit risk analysis on corporate transactions for the EMEA region, with a focus on leveraged structures and derivatives, working across a broad set of stakeholders.

You will assess financial strength, contribute to sector analysis, and support risk appetite setting and regulatory ratings while collaborating with Investment Banking, Legal, and Compliance to protect firm capital.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of credit risk management experience in corporate credit risk.
• Experience in investment banking products including loan products and derivatives.
• Strong documentation, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the credit and financial strength of corporate borrowers and counterparties using fundamental credit analysis (quantitative & qualitative).
• Review lending and underwriting transactions (e.g., LBO, M&A) and contribute to risk appetite and regulatory ratings by analyzing cash flows and documentation.
• Contribute to sector analysis to assess portfolio concentrations or trends.
• Collaborate with IB/Financing, Sales & Trading, Legal, Operations, Compliance to support derivatives approvals and risk mitigants.
• Analyze risks inherent in lending, trading, and derivative products.
• Manage relationships across Investment Banking, Asset Management, Global Markets, Controllers, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
