Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks a highly motivated Compliance Officer to support regional coverage in EMEA for the firm’s Digital Assets business, defining and executing the firm’s Compliance strategy for digital assets and the evolving regulatory environment.

The role sits at the intersection of digital asset product advisory, DLT and tokenisation governance, and risk oversight, coordinating cross-border regulatory responses and advising on lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Senior Analyst or Associate level experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; degrees in Law, Finance, Economics, or Technology preferred.
• Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or CISI are a strong plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in a core Compliance function at a Tier-1 Bank or Broker-Dealer is highly desirable.
• Technical understanding of blockchain technology, tokenization, and on-chain mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key Compliance contact for Digital Assets in EMEA with cross-functional teams to assess risks and design controls.
• Advise on all stages of the digital asset and DLT product lifecycle including governance and control implementation.
• Monitor UK, EU and global regulatory developments and translate changes into actionable frameworks for EMEA; coordinate cross-border responses.
• Support responses to regulatory exams, audits, and remediation efforts as escalation point.
• Understand cross-business and cross-regional risks and develop Firmwide compliance solutions.
