Job summary

Light & Wonder in Manchester is seeking a Collections Manager to lead the EMEA Collections team, protect cash flow, manage credit risk and support business growth. Based in Spinningfields, the role is hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day at home).

You will partner with Finance Shared Services, Sales and Legal to balance strong customer relationships with effective risk management. This is a visible leadership position requiring coaching, performance management and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a B2B collections team in a high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, credit risk assessment, and cash forecasting.
• Experience in SOX-controlled environments and supporting audits.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and payment behaviour to decide terms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the EMEA Collections team.
• Oversee ageing reviews and escalations for high-risk accounts.
• Drive timely cash collection while maintaining customer relationships.
• Conduct credit reviews and set appropriate limits and terms.
• Monitor DSO, bad debt exposure, and unapplied cash.
• Own SOX controls across order-to-cash.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support acquisitions and transition projects in Finance SSC.
