Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a senior Collections lead for its Global Finance Shared Services in the UK. The role focuses on managing high-value EMEA accounts, guiding complex negotiations, and reducing risk through effective dispute resolution and collaboration across Sales, Legal, and Finance.

The position is hybrid, with in-person attendance at an office location for part of each week, reporting to the Global Collections Manager and influencing enterprise-wide processes.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of B2B collections, Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Order-to-Cash experience supporting large or complex customer portfolios.
• Experience managing strategic, high-value, high-risk, or executive-level customer accounts.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, dispute management, credit risk, collections processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Global Capability Center or Shared Services operating model.
• Ability to influence across Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Shared Services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary collections SME and escalation point for the EMEA region.
• Directly manage collections activities for a portfolio of strategic, high-value, high-risk, or business-critical accounts.
• Lead senior-level customer engagement and resolve complex matters including disputes and negotiations.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to remove barriers to payment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify recurring issues and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate recovery, insolvency, and write-off matters with Legal and external partners while ensuring compliance.
• Analyze portfolio performance and advise leadership on risks and opportunities.
