Job Description:

Aon is currently recruiting an Account Manager to join our EMEA reinsurance team in London.

The Account Manager – EMEA will be a client-facing role, primarily responsible for the technical and administrative support of EMEA business, working closely with account executives and client teams in the placing and servicing of reinsurance placements.

What the day will look like

Your impact as an Account Manager – EMEA includes:

  • Partnering with the account executive and client team in marketing reinsurance placements, involving communication with clients, reinsurers, and colleagues from regional Aon offices.
  • Generating and reviewing contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements, and evidence of cover, ensuring they meet all requirements.
  • Producing client and market submissions and presentations, including data collection and analysis.
  • Monitoring placements, recording progress, and providing updates.
  • Resolving queries from clients and reinsurers, liaising with other departments as needed.
  • Maintaining data within Aon’s IT systems.
  • Adhering to Aon UK Limited’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including risk management and mandatory training.

Skills and experience for success

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education to A Level or Degree level, or equivalent, with market experience preferred.
  • Good technical understanding of reinsurance and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
