Gallagher Re are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll support Producers and Brokers in servicing high-profile, multi-class portfolios, including Property CAT and Retro (Collateralised Reinsurance and ILW’s).

How you'll make an impact
  • Responsible for ensuring all pre and post placement servicing is delivered and prioritised, invoiced and settled in accordance with contract terms and client's expectations, coordinating end to end process until full payment to/from all parties.
  • Really get to know our client's businesses and their reinsurance programmes.
  • Forge and maintain close working relationships with agreed Clients and Markets and improve the overall customer relationship, delivering reliable administrative support and Client service.
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for coordinating query resolution with the Client and ensuring effective management of queries per Client instructions.
  • Collaborate with our Broking Team to produce data and information packs, support compliance checks, and assist in the creation of slips and endorsements.
  • Adhering to standard internal processes, policies and procedures, and other external regulatory requirements, as well as Compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and Gallagher Re standard processes and professional codes.
  • Acting as a point of contact to Client, Broker, Local Overseas Offices, Market and Management for assigned accounts.
About you
  • Experience within a similar role is needed.
  • Knowledge of Collateralised Reinsurance, ILWs and retrocession transactions is required.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion:Handle sensitive information with the utmost care.
  • Ability to effectively engage with collaborators at all levels.
  • Run high-priority tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be a positive and a flexible team player.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
