Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking an EMC Engineer at Boscombe Down to support test and evaluation activities for aircraft and land platforms. You will join the RF and Electronics Group, providing EMC/EMI expertise and contributing to the design and testing of radar, RF, and communications front-ends.

The role requires knowledge of EMC/EMI, DEF STAN 59-411, and the ability to author test plans and reports. Travel to customer sites is expected; SC clearance eligibility is a must.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics qualification (at least HND level with relevant experience).
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics degree (desirable).
• Evidence of continued learning and development.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support test and evaluation activities for aircraft and land platforms.
• Provide technical expertise in customer-facing delivery environments.
• Understand customer problems and contribute to solutions.
• Maintain engagement with stakeholders and produce technical docs.
• Identify risks and assist project managers with mitigation.
