Job summary

QinetiQ Group plc seeks a Senior RF Environment Test Engineer to support the Belgian JEWSC, delivering sovereign EW/EMI capabilities and Mission Data products. You will design and run RF threat environments, validating EW systems and C-UAS capabilities across UK/Belgium sites, with travel and potential relocation to Belgium.

You will develop representative RF test environments, configure advanced RF equipment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure operation reflects real battle

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RF test and experimentation environments.
• Strong knowledge of EW, EMI, and RF principles.
• Experience designing and operating RF test or threat-generation environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RF test environments for EW, EMI, Mission Data and C-UAS.
• Design realistic threat scenarios and emitter profiles for experiments.
• Configure and operate RF test/simulation environments with data capture.
• Support lab, field and synthetic testing programmes.
• Develop methodologies and validation approaches for EW/EMI systems.
• Collaborate with SMEs, analysts and engineers on threat modelling and data validation.
