Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking an Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer to join the Boscombe Down site. You will work within the E3 Team supporting test and evaluation activities across aircraft, land platforms and their electronic systems.

You will produce technical deliverables, author test plans and reports, and engage with customers and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions. Essential qualifications include an engineering or physics background, EMC/EMI knowledge, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EMC/EMI and E3 technical areas such as EMF, HIRF, certification/qualification.
• Ability to author test plans and technical reports.
• Understanding of fundamental electromagnetic theory and DEF STAN 59-411.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and effective test and evaluation activities for aircraft and land platforms.
• Provide technical expertise in a customer-facing, delivery-focused environment.
• Identify customer problems and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Engage with key stakeholders and produce written technical documentation.
