Job summary

QinetiQ seeks an Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer for its Boscombe Down site. You will join the E3 Team to support test and evaluation activities across aircraft and land platforms, delivering expert advice and technical outputs.

The role requires EMC/EMI knowledge, EM theory familiarity, and the ability to author test plans and reports. Eligibility for SC clearance is essential; travel to customer sites will be expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMC/EMI concepts and RF systems.
• Ability to author test plans and technical reports.
• Understanding of EM theory and related standards.
• UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Working within the E3 Team supporting the safe and effective conduct of specific test and evaluation activities mainly with aircraft (civil and military) and Land Platforms.
• Providing technical expertise in a customer facing and delivery focused environment
• Understanding customers’ problems and contribute to innovative solutions
• Providing continued technical engagement with key stakeholders
• Producing written documentation (including presentation material) of technical work in accordance with Project requirements
• Identifying project technical risks and supporting project managers with their management
