Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Lincoln, United Kingdom, is seeking a Senior RF Environment Test Engineer to support the Belgian Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Support Centre and sovereign RF testing capabilities. You will develop and maintain RF test environments for EW, EMI, Mission Data and C-UAS, design threat scenarios, configure test systems and work with SMEs across UK and Belgium.

The role requires 5+ years in RF test environments, strong RF/EW knowledge, travel between UK and Belgium and eligibility

Qualifications

• 5+ years in RF test environment development, operation and improvement.
• Strong knowledge of RF engineering, EW, EMI and Mission Data.
• Experience designing, configuring and operating RF test or threat generation environments.
• Experience using RF test instrumentation and laboratory integration.
• Experience supporting Test & Evaluation planning and reporting on complex programmes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop threat environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RF test environments for EW, EMI, Mission Data and C-UAS.
• Design realistic electromagnetic threat scenarios and emitter profiles.
• Configure, operate and integrate RF test/simulation environments and signal analysis tools.
• Support laboratory, field and synthetic environment testing activities and TE programmes.
• Develop validation approaches for EW and EMI systems.
• Work with SMEs to support threat modelling and mission data validation.
