Job summary

The Focusrite Group offers a 12-month placement in the Embedded Software team in the UK. You will work with engineers across hardware, QA and production, delivering firmware and tooling for real products.

Gain hands-on experience in C/C++, Python, version control and build automation while contributing to multi-disciplinary projects across Focusrite, Focusrite Pro and Novation. We value curiosity, practical problem solving and a passion for music technology.

Qualifications

• Interest in firmware and embedded software development.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
• Experience with C/C++ and some Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to deliver embedded software features.
• Develop tools, scripts and automation to improve workflows.
• Assist in debugging and testing software on real hardware.
• Maintain products and systems.
