Job summary

Legocia in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced firmware engineer to join our embedded team. You’ll write firmware in C, C++ or Rust for microcontrollers and embedded Linux, and bring up new boards with hardware engineers.

You’ll design secure boot, update and provisioning flows and build hardware-in-the-loop tests to ensure reliability, power efficiency and security. Nice to have: Bluetooth Low Energy and Rust on embedded.

Qualifications

• Several years of shipping production firmware.
• Able to read schematics and use a scope.
• Experience with an RTOS such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS.
• Care for reliability, power and security.

Responsibilities

• Write firmware in C, C++ or Rust for microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
• Bring up new boards with our hardware engineers.
• Design secure boot, update and provisioning flows.
