Job summary

Kedleston Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant - Interventions to join Hawley Woods School and help support pupils with therapeutic needs. You will assist with delivering targeted interventions under the therapy team and work closely with teaching staff to ensure pupil welfare and progress.

The role offers ongoing training and development opportunities within a supportive school community and Kedleston Group family.

Qualifications

• ELSA qualification required.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) required.
• Evidence of CPD or ongoing learning.
• Experience delivering at least one evidence-based intervention.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals, groups or class groups with their therapeutic and intervention needs.
• Deliver lessons or interventions under the instruction of the therapy team (OT, SaLT and ELSA).
• Assist teaching staff with administration and other tasks.
• Support pupil welfare and wellbeing.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures.
• Attend educational trips, extra-curricular activities and parents' evenings (may require out-of-hours availability).
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers.
