Job summary

Kedleston Group Limited's Hawley Woods School in Camberley seeks a Teaching Assistant - Interventions to support pupils with therapeutic needs, deliver interventions with our therapy team, and support staff in a warm, dedicated environment.

You will work with small groups, assist with administration, attend trips and events, and contribute to safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing while pursuing ongoing CPD and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ELSA qualification or willingness to obtain.
• GCSEs including English and maths.
• Evidence of CPD or interest in learning.
• Training/experience delivering at least one evidence-based intervention.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals, groups or class with therapeutic/intervention needs.
• Deliver interventions under instruction of therapy team (OT, SaLT, ELSA).
• Assist teaching staff with administration and other tasks.
• Support pupil welfare and wellbeing.
• Adhere to school systems, structures, policies and procedures.
• Participate in educational trips, extra-curricular activities and parents’ evenings.
