Job summary

Ward Security seeks an Elite Contract Support Officer for Birmingham. The role requires a valid SIA frontline licence, a UK manual driving licence, and a proven track record in corporate security.

You will deliver excellent customer service, manage access points, respond to emergencies, and maintain a professional presence across staff and visitors. Salary is £14.55 per hour with shifts covering a minimum 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Frontline SIA licence.
• UK manual driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as a Corporate Security Officer.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Exemplary standards of personal presentation.
• IT literate with the ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude towards people and challenges.
• Must be available 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact and information centre for staff, visitors, and tenants.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Control access points, allowing or denying entry to visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter threats to client property and assets.
• Investigate incidents and take appropriate lawful action as per corporate policy.
• Complete daily reports with detailed information, observations, and surveillance footage.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all platforms, including verbal, written, and via security radios.
