Job summary

Ward Security Limited is seeking an experienced Contract Support Officer to join our Birmingham site. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for staff, visitors and tenants, maintaining professional conduct, and ensuring safety across premises.

Key duties include guarding access points, patrolling, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with colleagues. A valid SIA frontline license, CCTV licence and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Frontline SIA license
• Proven work experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• IT literate – ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact and information center to staff, visitors and tenants
• Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry
• Conduct patrols and deter security incidents
• Prepare daily reports and document observations
