Bristol City FC is seeking a dedicated Player Care professional to establish an Elite Player Care provision. You will support the First Team, PDP and emerging talent, managing daily welfare needs and handling emergencies as required.

The role reports to the First Team Operations Manager and offers a salary of £35,000 per year. Key duties include designing an integrated care approach, coordinating housing and travel, and providing bespoke onboarding and ongoing support to players and families.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience providing tailored operational or individual support within elite sport, a high‑performance environment or similar.
• Strong ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders, travel and matchday logistics.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and record-keeping; able to manage competing priorities.
• Clear interpersonal skills with discretion and cultural sensitivity when supporting players and families.

Responsabilités

• Support design, development and implementation of an integrated Club approach to Player Care with relevant staff.
• Resolve issues promptly and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
• Respond to out-of-hours issues and emergencies as required.
• Provide bespoke welcome for each new First Team player and assist with arrival logistics.
• Build relationships with players and families and coordinate lifestyle support (housing, passports, etc.).
• Establish relationships with external agencies for housing/vehicle arrangements and welfare support.
• Attend home and some away matches to provide in-person support; assist on matchdays with operational needs.
