Job summary

Otis Liverpool is seeking a Lift Modernization Engineer to join our North West team. You will work on elevator modernization projects, apply elevator engineering principles, read plans, and install equipment to exacting safety standards.

The role requires NVQ3 in elevators, a valid driver’s license, and strong electrical and mechanical skills. You will liaise with customers on site, stay away overnight when required, and receive intensive training, a company vehicle, tools, and a supportive work

Qualifications

• Knowledge of elevator equipment and installation principles.
• NVQ3 in elevators and a valid driver's license.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills and plan reading ability.
• Ability to work with technical products and new technologies.
• Appreciation for manual trades and completing finished work.

Responsibilities

• Work on elevators with quality and efficiency.
• Work safely in line with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
• Stay away overnight when required.
• Liaise directly with customers on site to build good working relationships.
• Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety.
