Job summary

Otis is seeking a Service Engineer to join our team covering Liverpool and the Northwest. You will maintain a portfolio of lifts and escalators, ensuring safety and high service standards on-site for key clients.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in escalator service or related field, a valid driver's license, and at least 24 months' elevator experience. You will work independently or with colleagues, using electronic and digital tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ level 3 in escalator service, maintenance or repair.
• Driver's license and within 1 hour commute of Liverpool.
• At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety-focused professional with strong on-site communication.
• Comfortable working independently or in a team and with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation. Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
