Job summary

Think Staffing is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to perform functional testing on electronic hardware and assemblies used in our manufactured products. The role emphasizes a practical, hands-on approach with a can-do attitude and good communication skills.

Based on site in rural Gloucestershire (Dursley area), the position may require your own transport. Salary depends on skills and experience, with a minimum around £24,784.50.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths, English and Science at A-C (new grade 5-9) or equivalent.
• IT literate with basic computer skills.
• Practical and technical aptitude with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on products manufactured by the company.
• Carry out basic de-bug and fault finding.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of test equipment and fault finding.
• First line fault finding on burn-in boards and driver cards.
• Assist with design and manufacture of board test equipment.
• Assist with inspection of company products.
